Characteristics of High Saturation Hydrate Reservoirs in the Low-Angle Subduction Area of the Makran Accretionary Prism

To delineate the spatial distribution of high saturation gas hydrate reservoirs in low-angle subduction areas Makran Accretionary Prism, we conducted seismic data interpretation and impedance inversion hydrates Prism comprehensively analyzed characteristics Nankai Trough Japan Shenhu Area South China Sea. The results show that features thick sediments, developed transport systems “two-way supply” (i.e., thrust fault normal fault, permeable strata), clear continuous bottom simulating reflector (BSR). Meanwhile, strong-amplitude reflectors strong-impedance anomalies coexist anticline wing above BSR. Combined with proven reservoir, are probably mainly distributed wings immediately These provide useful information for exploration development area Prism.
